The present investigation was carried out to assess the impact of substitution of fish meal with soybean meal in the diet at a rate of 25 per cent, 50 per cent, 75 per cent and 100 per cent to elucidate its impact on the growth and growth parameters of Nile tilapia. Five experimental diets were prepared utilizing fish meal, soybean meal and mustard oil cake following standard procedures for formulation of the feed. The experimental diet under the treatment (T0,T1, T2, T3 and T4) had an average crude protein percentage of ranging from 28.34 to 31.57 per cent. The gross energy (Kcal/100g) for the experimental diets under the treatment (T0,T1, T2, T3 and T4) was estimated to be 430.59, 460.64, 417.20, 416.22 and 422.5, respectively. Within 90 days of culture period, theNile tilapias fed with control diet with no replacement of fish meal with soybean meal attended an average final weight of 23.78±0.38g. The best growth ofNile tilapia was reported when fed with the control diet under the treatment (T0). Nile tilapia provided with the diet with 50 per cent replacement of fish meal with soybean meal (T2) attended an average weight of 22.16±0.66g from an initial average weight of 3.40±0.10g which was reported to be at par with the control diet followed by the diet where 25 per cent of the fish meal was replaced with soybean meal. Under the treatment (T3 andT4) where 75 per cent and 100 per cent of fish meal was replaced by soybean meal a retardation of growth ofNile tilapia was noticed. The analysis of variance revealed a significant difference (= 0.05) between the treatments and a highly significant difference was reported between the days of culture. The treatment (T2) was considered to be the best out of all other treatments with respect to different growth parameters next to the control diet. Keywords

Background: Spontaneous haemoperitoneum during pregnancy resulting from tear or rupture of a uterine or ovarian vessel is a rare yet catastrophic event, which can be a cause of maternal and foetal loss.
Case: A 31 year old woman, Para 6, arrived in our emergency in shock within 12 hours of delivery after an uneventful spontaneous vaginal delivery at a private clinic. Abdominal palpation revealed rigidity and tenderness and uterine fundus could not be appreciated. Ultrasound examination confirmed free fluid in the abdomen and pelvis. Liver, pancreas, gall bladder, spleen and pelvic organs were normal. No obvious source of bleeding was identified. After clinical and sonographic examnation, haemoperitoneum was suspected. Per operative findings were haemoperitoneum equivlent to 500 cc, uterus was intact, a small diverticulum was present on fundus and a small peritoneal tear was present on left posterior surface of uterus with oozing from underlying uterine vessels. Peritoneal tear was stitched along with bilateral uterine artery ligation. Complete haemostasis was achieved.
Result: Her postoperative period was uneventful and patient was discharged on 7th postopertive day.
Conclusion: Haemoperitoneum after normal vaginal delivery is rare but life threatening to mothers. Although very rare, obstetrician should be aware of this cause of acute abdominal pain and hypovolaemic shock in pregnancy. Close observation, prompt diagnosis and proper intervention are the keys to patient survival.

This paper deals with a general class of nonlinear implicit variational inclusion problems in 2-uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Applying the generalized resolvent operator technique involving A-maximal m-relaxed monotonicity, the existence and uniqueness solution of the proposed problem is established. Using the generalized graph convergence, an implicit algorithm is developed that approximates the unique solution. Finally, the convergence analysis of the proposed algorithm is accomplished. Similar results are also explored for other classes of maximal monotone mappings. Keywords

Purpose of the Study: To compare the efficacy and safety of sublingual versus vaginal misoprostol for induction of labour in term pregnancy.Materials and Methods: A total of 100 women admitted for induction of labour at PGIMS Rohtak were randomized to receive 25 μg of sublingual versus vaginal misoprostol for induction of labour.
Results: Majority of women in both groups delivered vaginally (90% in both the groups). The mean number of doses of misoprostol required for induction of labour was similar in sublingual and vaginal misoprostol groups (1.64±0.802 versus 1.96±1.12). The time taken from induction to active phase of labour was 5.72±3.59 versus 7.04±4.55 (hours) in the both the groups respectively. The induction delivery interval was 8.38 (hours) in the sublingual and 7.04 (hours) in the vaginal misoprostol groups. Most of the patients in both the groups did not require oxytocin for augmentation of labour.
Conclusion: The low dose of misoprostol i.e. 25 μg is equally efficacious and safe by both sublingual and vaginal routes.

Growth in infant and young children is a sensitive index of the general state of health. The observations of growth are of utmost importance particularly during infancy and childhood, as it determines the success and failure of dietary habits and child rearing practices of the society. The monitoring of growth and development to detect deviations from normal, provides one of the simplest, but important method of assessing the health of a child. In order to understand the problem of malnutrition in infants, a study was conducted by recording various anthropometric measurements like weight, height, mid-upper arm circumference, head circumference and chest circumference of infants in some rural and urban slum areas of Varanasi.- Malignant Mixed Mullerian Tumour of Uterus

Background: Malignant mixed Mullerian tumors (MMMTs) are metaplastic carcinomas including both carcinomatous and sarcomatous elements. Case: A 65-year-old postmenopausal female presented to outpatient department with chief complaints of blood mixed vaginal discharge for the last 10 days. Speculum examination revealed a large, necrotic, foul smelling polyp of approximately 4 x 4 centimeters size seen coming out through the external os. Vaginal examination revealed that the cervix was dilated and taken up and the same polypoid mass was felt coming out through the os. Polypectomy along with endometrial biopsy was done and tissue was sent for histopathological examination which revealed features of malignant mixed mullerian tumor in the polyp and the endometrial biopsy showed necrotic tissue. Result: Patient underwent total abdominal hysterectomy along with bilateral salpingoopherectomy and pelvic lymphnode sampling. On cut section of the uterine corpus, a polypoid growth of size 3 x 2 centimeters was identified which on histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of a homologous uterine malignant mixed mullerian tumor involving more than half the thickness of myometrium. Conclusion: With a highly aggressive nature and limited therapeutic options, MMMTs represent one of the most lethal neoplasms of the female genitourinary tract. Keywords

Morphometry of erythrocytes and leukocytes and differential leukocyte count of two breeds of adult turkey (24 birds) were performed with respect to sexual dimorphism. Except nuclear length of erythrocytes, other parameters show highly significant difference at P < 0.01. Leukocytes reflected significant difference at P < 0.01 among and between breeds with respect to their dimensions. In case of DLC, except eosinophils, all leukocytes show significant difference (P < 0.01) among and between breeds. Morphometry of blood cells of two breeds of turkey is within the range mentioned for avian species, but the differential count revealed some abnormalities which might be due to stress or infection. Keywords

A 120 days feeding trial was conducted in triplicate in the cement cistern to investigate the effect of mixed feeding statagies on growth performances of striped cat fish (Pangasianodon hypothalamus) and catla (Catla catla) under polyculture system. Both the species of uniform size and initial weight were stocked at a ratio of 60:40 (striped cat fish 60% and catla 40%) by adopting a total stocking density of 30,000 numbers of fingerlings per ha. Experimental diets were prepared containing varying levels of proteins from the plant source like soybean, sesame oil cake, mustard oil cake following the standard procedures for formulation of pelleted feed. The feed ingredients like mustard oil cake, sesame oil cake. soybean, de-oiled rice bran, corn flour, vegetable oil, vitamin and mineral premix were procured and utilized for the purpose. Five experimental diet were prepared as T0 : Control diet with the mixture of mustard oil cake and de-oiled rice bran, Low protein diet (T1) with 15 per cent crude protein, High protein diet (T2) with 30 per cent crude protein, T3 One day low protein and one day high protein on alternate day and (T4) Two days low protein and two days high protein on consecutive manner. The feed was provided to the experimental animals at a rate of 4 per cent of their body weight daily. Among all the different treatments, striped cat fish and catla attended maximum average weight gain under the influence of one day low protein and one day high protein diet in alternate manner (T3) followed by T2 (with high protein diet) and T1 (with low protein diet). The growth performances under the treatment (T4) was considered to be least. The analysis of variance revealed a significant difference (α=0.05) between the treatments and a highly significant difference was reported between the days of culture irrespective of fish species. The treatment (T3) was considered to be the best out of all other treatments in term of average weight gain (g), increment in length, minimum FCR and PER with higher specific growth rate. Keywords
